I'm baaack!!!!! It has been way too long since I have a.) written in this blog and b.) worked out. I am now accomplishing both. :) A lot has happened since I my last post......here is a recap;
My sweet little boy, Aiden, is now 2.5 years old. My how time flies. He is very energetic, active and loves sports. His favorite athlete is Tom Brady and on occasion he even introduces himself as Tom Brady. He is just now getting into card/board games with his current favorite being "Slap" the turtle (TMNT playing cards and whenever you see a Ninja Turtle you are supposed to slap it, similar to slap jack). Cory and I took him out snowboarding the other day and man isn't he a natural (minus the 10 minute attention span). Love that little guy, he sure melts my heart.
Eros, our snuggly fur baby. He will be 9 years old this year :.(. He is doing well, a little bit of arthritis, but overall doing well. He loves just lounging around the house and I especially love how snuggly he is. He loves having Aiden around because he gets to lick up all of his food droppings.
Cory has been working in home pediatric care and is content for the time being. He just started trying to go to the climbing gym again. I know he really misses rock climbing. Hoping to get to do more rock climbing and camping this summer.
As for me, things have been going pretty well. I am 26 weeks pregnant with a little girl. I am so excited and trying everything to hold back and not go crazy shopping!!!! The Holidays really did a number on me and I am sitting here extremely unhappy with the 12 lbs. I have gained so far. I know, I know, I am pregnant and should be gaining weight but I should have only gained about 8 lbs, not 12. So after a long weekend and getting a lot done around the house, I got up this morning and said today is the day. If I ever want to earn that M.I.L.F. title I better get a move on it, Additionally, I would like to have a really smooth labor and delivery. Back to the grind I go. Here is what I did this morning:
30 minutes walking on treadmill (2.5/2.6 mph)
25 squats
30 second plank hold
10 minutes of cool down/stretching.
Here is to a more in shape me. Tomorrow is a new day.
